Thanksgiving 2009

First, we had a late lunch at my grandma's house. The food was absolutely delicious! This is the only good picture I got while there. Jaden and Jordan were having fun rocking the recliner.

We then had dinner at Chris's parents' house, although none of us really ate a whole lot (I think I ate the most out of us 4). We were all still pretty stuffed from our late lunch. This is the only good picture of all of us. The boys just would not cooperate.

First Dr. appointment and ultra sound

I had my first Dr. appointment for baby number 3 today, and he rolled in a mini ultra sound machine to check that everything was going well. He did 3 measurements (which you see at the bottom of the last picture - the due dates), and the best measurement he got was this last one. He said he was just going to keep my due date as June 23, 2010! 30 weeks and 2 days left! Baby's doing great! And yes, there's only one in there, despite what Jaden thinks ;)

Computer time

We finally found a mouse out of all the boxes we still haven't unpacked (and don't have a need to for quite awhile) for Jaden to use on Chris's laptop. Jaden loves playing his Nick Jr. games. Carson decided he'd get in on the action, too. He thinks he is such a big boy climbing and sitting in big boy chairs like a big boy.

Playroom

I finally broke out the chalk for the boys to play with in their new playroom (will eventually be the nursery for the new baby). We painted the bottom of the room in chalkboard paint, and the boys were having a blast!

Once a thief, always a thief

Carson, once again, climbed up Jaden's chair and started eating Jaden's cereal. He was just so darn proud of himself, lol.

Birthday at Gymnastics

Jaden, Carson and I went to a friend's daughter's 4th birthday party on Saturday (I took time off from moving/unpacking to take the boys). The party was at a gymnastics place, and the boys had so much fun!

Jaden found out that trampolines are fun and nothing to be afraid of.

Carson learned how to spin himself.

Carson was in love with this huge soccer ball.

Flirting with the girls :)

Carson loved the rope. I gave him a ride, but I couldn't take a picture, as I had both hands holding him up.

Pausing to say cheese.

Fun with a bow.

I thought this picture came out funny.

Carson enjoying his very mini cupcake.

All tuckered out

Both boys woke up this morning around 7:10am. We have been going to story time at the library every Friday for a little over a month, so I was trying to do that today, too. We go to the 10am story time, and I also needed to go to the bank to get our payoff amount for closing. I knew going to story time would be a bad idea, since I knew Carson was already so tired and ready for a nap, but we went anyway. I couldn't put off going to the bank, so we went there directly afterwords. That took forever, and sucked. I hate bringing the kids inside the bank, because they think they have free reign, and they also don't like to be held. After we were finally done with the bank I was a mean mommy and made an early lunch so all of us could take a nap at the same time. I didn't get a nap yesterday, and I really needed one, which made me even more tired today. Jaden had finished his lunch and was in the living room while I was eating my sandwich. I thought it was a bit quiet in the kitchen (Carson doesn't like it if he's in there alone and lets you know). I told myself I'd finish my sandwich (I was almost done) and then check on him. I then heard a noise from the kitchen, so I was sure he was still awake. I get done eating my sandwich and go to the kitchen, and Carson was out cold! I guess the noise I heard was his sippy tipping over as his head flopped down. Poor guy. it was too cute not to take pictures, though. Neither of my kids have ever done that before! I wiped him off with wipies, and he didn't even wake up. I put him in bed, and I thought I got lucky to be able to take a nap. Five minutes after I put him in bed (still didn't move when I put him in bed) he came out of his room with all the energy in the world. This made me sad. I put Jaden down for his nap at noon, and he didn't even fight it. He had no nap yesterday, and he woke up so early today, I knew he was tired. Well, Carson didn't fall back asleep until 1:20pm. He had been back in his room since 12:30pm playing. I realized he had a poopy diaper, so I changed him, and I thought he'd go to sleep after that, but nope! Oh well, he did finally fall asleep, and I got my nap...kind of. I laid in bed for what seemed like forever. I tossed and turned, and finally when I got on my back I fell asleep. Seems to be the only way that will put me to sleep if I'm having troubles falling asleep when I'm in my first trimester.

Sleepy boy

I put Carson to bed after lunch (and nursing). He was awake, but very tired when I put him in bed. When I checked on him before I went to take a nap, this is how he was. He has never put anything in his mouth when going to sleep - that's Jaden. I just thought this was so cute. He also must have pulled the covers up a bit to do it, too, because I didn't have them pulled up quite that far.

Swings

I decided to take the boys outside after lunch so they could get out some energy. I was really tired and wanted a nap, so I needed both boys to go down at the same time. It worked! I even slept for a couple hours, which never happens.

Halloween 2009

Halloween day was a very long day for everyone. We went to Disney on Ice at 11am, went back to Grandma's for naps, dressed up to go trick-or-treating in the Ranch and Home parking lot, got back to have dinner, then went to my mom's house and went trick-or-treating to a couple houses, went home and trick-or-treated at a few more houses on our block, then we went home for baths and bed. While we were doing all of this (before we left to go to my mom's house) Chris was working on the new house.

Ranch and Home parking lot - waiting in the very long line.

All done trick-or-treating (so wasn't worth it), and Jaden got to get on a firetruck! He was in heaven!

Then he got to go INSIDE the firetruck. It took forever to get him out, lol.

Carson sucking on a lolly pop.

At my mom's. Carson wasn't very happy.

Last house before we went home!

Walking home!

I just love this picture!
