It was a beautiful sunny day today! The wind was blowing, so I had Carson wear a jacket, but it was beautiful. I set him on the grass for the first time. He did a little feeling around, but all in all the sun was too bright for his eyes the direction I had him sitting. I think he liked it, though.

New sleeping quarters
I had put Carson down for his afternoon nap, then cooked Jaden and myself lunch. Jaden said he wanted soup (spaghettios), so that's what I made him. He proceeded to not eat them (no shocker there). He saw that I made myself some Ramen, so of course he wanted to mooch off me. I gave him a couple bites then told him to go eat his soup. He actually did! He came back out to me for more bites of my Ramen after asking me to clean his hands and face. I gave him a couple more bites then told him to go eat his soup or take a nap. I continued to watch one of my soaps, and after it was over I went to see where Jaden was. This is where I found him. He was sleeping on Mommy and Daddy's bed. He's on my side, so I hope he wakes up dry! Haha! I actually didn't even expect him to take a nap since he didn't wake up until 9am this morning.

Round, round, get around, I get around
Carson has really figured out how to army crawl/scoot to wherever it is he wants to get to. Jaden had poured a box of cereal all over the floor early in the week, and boy did Carson go for it. The next day I guess he really wanted in Jaden's room. Here is a picture (taken a week and a half ago) and a few videos (taken last week) of Carson getting around. The picture is of him all the way down the hall past the bathroom door (Jaden was getting a bath).

First day of Spring
Today was such a beautiful day! First, Chris's parents stopped by. Jaden just had to get on the bike and play.
Jaden was so nice, he even let Carson take a picture with him.
Jaden then had to play with Grandma's helmet (which is actually Chris's old helmet)
He was playing peek-a-boo
Then, instead of a nap for Jaden, we went to the park a few blocks away. Carson got to be in a swing for the first time, and for the most part, he liked it.
Carson also went down the slide for the first time. He didn't ever show that he didn't like it, but he didn't show he loved it, either. He didn't scream, so I guess that was a good thing.
Jaden kept begging to get on the big swings, so I finally got him up on one. He liked the big swing much better than the "baby" swing.
I hope this weather is here to stay! I can't wait until we get our swing set built, because we will be spending a LOT of time outside (which Jaden will LOVE).

All tuckerd out
We were at my mom's house last Sunday, and Jaden got to play with two of his cousins. He had a BLAST! He hadn't taken a nap that day, so all the playing really wore him out. The second we got home he asked to watch Kai-Lan. A couple minutes into it he was passed out. He was in "Mommy's spot," and he even pulled the blanket on top of him and everything.

On the move
Carson has figured out how to scoot/army crawl. A few nights ago he was fighting sleep, so I put him on the floor to see if that would tire him out a little more. He found one of Jaden's balls and was trying so hard to get it. Before I got the camera out Carson had been going at the ball for about 10 minutes. By the time I got the camera out he had worn himself out a bit, but you still see him going for the ball.

Skater Jaden
Ever since Jaden got to skate at a friend of ours' son's birthday party he has been asking to skate non stop. Last week we finally found some skates for him, and he loves them!
The weather was finally okay enough to take him outside to skate today. He was happy about it, but he did not want the helmet on (even though he had been playing with it and wanting it on right beforehand).
