Jaden saw me take a picture of Carson, so he asked me to take a picture of himself...with his ball.

Balls
We were at WalMart getting some things I forgot to put on the list for the other day, and the boys saw these huge balls. They had been really good, so I got one for each of them. Come nap time Carson just HAD to take his to bed with him, lol!

No sew fleece blankets!
I have been wanting to make each of the kids one of these types of blankets for awhile now. We finally got the fleece last week and made Kami's blanket. It was our first try, and it didn't turn out perfect, but we still loved it. I couldn't tie the knots the way I wanted, so I had Chris tie all but about 5 knots.
While knotting the Wubbzy blanket Chris found that you could pull down a little on the knots. We tried this with Kamryn's blanket, after we were done with the Wubbzy blanket, and it worked! Kami's blanket is a square now!
Chris says he thinks it would be cool if I did these and sold them. I don't know if it would be worth it, though. I've looked at what the "buy it now" prices are on Ebay, and we'd be losing money. Maybe if I only did the cheaper fabrics (i.e. not the Wubbzy or Toy Story types - more like Kami's blanket) it would be worth it. We shall see if I choose to do this later on down the road. It was fun, though!
You can tell the blanket really bunched up and is not a square. I think we did pretty darn good for our first time, though!
Because I can't seem to tie the knots the way I want them I didn't do another blanket during the week. The boys spent the night at Chris's parents' house on Saturday, so after Chris and I had dinner we did another blanket. I think this one is my favorite! It turned out much better than Kamryn's blanket, too.

We did the last blanket today, and it turned out pretty awesome, too! Too bad the boys fight over the Wubbzy blanket, lol. Our plan was to just let the boys pick a blanket each day/night and not assign them a certain one. We'll see how that goes the next few days.
And I don't know why the flash on the camera felt like doing this, but it made the back of the blanket look much lighter than it really is. You can clearly see, in the picture above, that the back is the darker blue.

Tired Jaden
I had a few errands to run today, so we did those after we all got showered, dressed and ready to go. I could tell Carson was getting tired in the car, but I was hoping we'd make it to Pasco to meed Daddy for lunch before Carson fell asleep. Both boys were up before 7am, so I knew we were pushing it time-wise. Well, Carson was dead asleep when we got to Daddy's work. When we got to Taco Bell (Jaden's choice) we tried to wake Carson up. It wasn't working - he was OUT! Chris went in and got us lunch and brought it back to the car. We ended up having a little picnic in the car. Right as we were about done Carson decides it's time to wake up, so we gave him his half of his and Jaden's lunch. I knew I was screwed for a nap today, because there was no way I would be able to get Carson down for a nap the rest of the day. I don't remember exactly what time it was - sometime after 1pm, though - I asked Jaden to go potty, because he hadn't since he got up for the morning. He said he didn't want a nap, and that he wasn't tired. I knew he was, but wasn't going to push it then. After going potty he sat back down on the couch, and within about 5 minutes he was asleep.
I put Jaden's blanky on him, and Carson kept trying to play with him. I think, by the time I took this picture, that Carson was pretending to be asleep, hehe. Both boys only ended up getting about a 30 minute nap today. Jaden's nap was probably a bit shorter due to Carson bugging him while he was sleeping.

Boys...
Silly boys. They were playing in Carson's Toy Story chair with little basketball bath toys. Jaden was also trying to tickle Carson. They were having such a fun time!
Later on Carson got a hold of Daddy's computer and put it right up on his lap. He's just too cute sometimes. (Jaden was putting his sandals on to get ready and go get his hair cut.)

35 weeks
I am 35 weeks today, so here are some pictures! I think I have 2 shirts now that fit without showing my belly hanging out...mostly. This is not one of them, lol!
I did this picture to compare with me around the same gestation as I was with Carson.
Here's me at 35w4d with Carson. I guess I should've held my shirt under my belly in the picture above. It looks like I'm bigger with Carson, and maybe I was, but my belly is hanging quite a bit lower with Kamryn.

Tot-in-a-box
Jaden was playing in a diaper box, and Carson was getting upset, because Jaden wouldn't share the box. I told Carson there was another box, ad to go get it. He got the box with such excitement and started playing in it. For awhile he was just sitting in it with a couple of the flaps folded in. I wanted to start folding laundry, so I put on Ni-hao Kai-Lan's trip to China. Carson got really excited and this is how he watched all of it.
After the first picture he had to say cheese, so I took another :)

Feeding the ducks!
I decided to take the boys out to feed the ducks as a surprise to them. Chris's mom also came along. The boys loved throwing the bread! At first, Carson ran right up to the ducks - no fear. I think he got a little scared when the ducks were trying to take his animal cookies out of his hands. He did end up throwing the bread, but he never ventured closer to the ducks. Every time he'd throw the bread he'd say either "Gotcha!" or "Thank you" in Chinese (I have no clue how to spell it). I never did figure out which he was saying, because they both sound the same when he says them.
We then went to one of the playgrounds at the park for just a little bit. Carson's favorite part was the "bouncy bridge" thanks to Team Umizoomi (a show on Nick).

Mother's Day 2010
As I do every year, I try to get pictures of the family on Mother's Day. I wanted to get the pictures before we ate, and before the boys got too dirty playing out back. Carson didn't want anything to do with pictures, because we first took him away from the water fountain, then we took him away from the sand table. I'm actually surprised Jaden actually smiled a good smile in a couple of them!

How can he sleep like that?
This was one day I didn't take a nap, so I ended up putting both boys down for a nap at around the same time. Usually I put Carson down first, then about 15-20 minutes (sometimes up to 30, but that's rarely these days) later I put Jaden down in his bed, in the same room. Well, because I pretty much put them to bed around the same time I let Jaden sleep in my bed. When I went to check on both boys this is how I found Jaden. I have no clue how he can sleep with a blanket all the way over his head and still be able to breathe OK. I'm sure he was keeping the light out, because I do that, too (but just have the blanket over my eyes, not my whole face), but I know I can't breathe as well with a blanket covering my whole face. Also, he HAD to have the sticker off his shirt when he took a nap, lol. He had it in his hand when I put him down for his nap, but I guess he felt like sticking it back on his shirt.
